on the mantle piece you wore your eyes of intrigue well as we drifted apart, we drifted together, a face in a film, shimmering on reflection blurred thoughts, lover’s glare how the frame kept you together until a shadow of you moved in the room seeing a heart on the floor removed but still pumping someone stoked the fire. © 2018 andrew mitchellReviews
