When you see the past passing!

When you see the past passing!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

If only the future
would let go of the past,
but this is futile thinking
for today was yearning
for the good ole days of yesterday
while trying to manage tomorrow.

Heaven help us!
If the past catches up with us,
they’ll be no tomorrow,
and you just never know
where the past has been.

No one has ever held
onto the future.
Such an elusive chap!

Ladies and Gentlemen
I give you the future!
Now where did it go?
Sorry everyone,
we can’t find the future.
So just put up with today,
it’s all you’ve got.

*Sigh*Time and time again; I tell you, it never ends. Everything is here today, gone tomorrow. How long can this go on? Time will tell...
Very enjoyable read, Andrew.
