From the omnibus of nonsense!

From the omnibus of nonsense!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Hark the angel cried
but bark she did not.
Along came her sider
who gave her some cider
and she just....
hiccuped away.
Off with her dress
the romp was a success
she oohed and arr-ed
as her eggs were scrambled
apparently the sperm dug in
she lost her wings
but an omelette was born.
You see it was only
human nature after all
to take a girl behind the wall,
to pull down her protection
and put in your connection
it was only human nature after all.

She consented, he consented,
while nature looked on excited,
the trees, the birds, the bees!
The grasses were not!
A sign did read
Keep off the grass!
The marching ants looked on
bewildered, shaken
but not stirred as the Earth moved.

Meanwhile at the gates of the colosseum
two lions had a chin wag!

To be continued.
