Love thy neighbour!

Love thy neighbour!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Your heart was no more
a letter box in waiting,
ready anxious,
only there to receive.
Of course, you did get junk mail,
as you perused over your subjects,
shopping being your art.
You collected letters
with reckless abandon
discarding those
not important to you,
many paid your bills.
I was lucky,
you never did receive
my enclosed emotions,
apparently lost mail,
but your neighbour did.
You gotta love thy neighbour!
