Sailing on thoughts lost in your night.

Sailing on thoughts lost in your night.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

What happens to the thought
that follows the road
that leads to the palace
you seek?

Does this thought transcend
to a universe having
a certain slant of light?

Do shadows stalk
swallowing life
as the candle of life dies
on dreams pursued?

How many doors of time
do we open before we become
the outcast where our shadow cast
sleeps eternally?

As the prism of Pink Floyd shines
on the dark side of you
I see your shadow walk
reflecting the rainbow
on the diamond
you speak in song.

I do hope there is a universe after all the buried dreams, missed chances and eternal sleep and shadows do walk, reflecting rainbows. Eloquently written Andrew.

Thank you very much DIVYA
You are waxing philosophical your highness. Very reflective and relatable. How many missed thoughts, oppurtunities, casted sleep we lose in our lives??? How many songs go on deaf ears and so forth...
