In the everything of nothing.

In the everything of nothing.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

In the twilight of your shadow
I seek the love you spilt
bleeding on the pavement wasted.

Was your love discarded
unworthy of being wanted?

I'm standing in the sun
I see your shadow passing
as you dance through the haze
in a daydream placed in mind,
I see puppets of you rising.

On the edge of my thoughts
I see a burning star
across your horizon,
and a line you drew
in the sand but...
I no longer see your face -
you're so far away.

Will the sun hold your soul
in her hands warm
before all fades
as your tears hang on the fence?

I wonder...
                 which way they will fall.

Thank you Riddhi
A delicate write with delicate expectations of the beloved. Which side of the fence, which drink to spill and which sand to draw those lines???
Well, she might get inspired by Donald Trump and build a wall instead of a fence. In this case, you are out for good.
I love it...
