It’s all about the legs!

It’s all about the legs!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

I came across eight legs the other day.
What four humans?
No! A spider!
How scary!
I know! I just escaped. said the ant.
How is your sixth leg by the way?
It’s still crooked! said the ant.
Well, I nearly got run over by a freight train.
Really! We don’t get freight trains here.
Actually, it was a millipede but....
it sounded like a lot more
with all those thunderous feet.
So, where are you living now. asked the grasshopper.
Still at Ant lane up on the mound? Yes, inside the underground city with my folks. said Antrobius the ant.
What about you?
Oh! I’m of no fixed address!
I just go where my jump takes me!
said the champion triple jump, double somersault grasshopper called Green-as.
