When six legs came into town.

When six legs came into town.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

It could only happen
in the wild Wild West
when two legs met four legs,
things got really jumping.

Strolling into the streets
of a lawless, dusty town,
the town folk looked in awe.

As usual for night fun
two legs lied on top
of another two legs
for nighttime entertainment,
but of course, only when
two legs had a bath.

In time the town folk
excepted two legs and four legs
especially when they had seen
six legs running around a paddock
which turned out to be
just a ram doing a ewe.

And so to end this story
the cowboy and his giraffe
became part of the family.

I'm pretty sure I never got the true extent of the first sentence of your profile blurb until after reading this poem. This is pushing the limits in a delightfully exaggerated storytelling way. It's not so much the storyline you are putting down, nor is it whether I'm following that storyline or not. It's more the way your outlandishness is a little sketchy & forcing us into an interactive experience as we explore leg possibilities between the lines (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
