The quest of " to have more." before the Holy Grail.

The quest of " to have more." before the Holy Grail.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Within the castle grounds
called Have-a-lot,
talk was always about
the quest " to have more."

King Want-a-lot with Queen Sit-a-lot
confided with Sir Have-a-lot.
" We just got to have more!"

With the "haves" on our side,
surely, we can squeeze more
out of the " have-nots"
until they are no more.

Meanwhile, around the campus
the fair maidens of Giggle-a-lot
frolicked their  naked bits
much to their delight by
Sir Grope-a-lot, Sir Fondle-a-lot,
and Sir Touch Inappropriately-a-lot;
all from the Isle of Sleaze.

Inside the walls, Sir Big-a-lot
was hungry but was advised
to do more exercise
by none other than
Sir Sexercise-a-lot
married to Princess Sex Take It Or Leave It More or less -a-lot.

Sir I Don't Care-a-lot
was a missing throughout
as was Sir Absentee-a-lot
who failed to show up.

Princess Bed-a-lot was all legs
in the air in bed with Sir Pants Down-a-lot,
all the while the dilemma still continues.

The "haves" still have and the "have-nots"
are not having a bar of it.
Clearly stating. " We have not the resources!"

King Want-a-lot sighs,
all the while a bumble bee
crawls into Queen Sit-a-lot's gaping knickers
witnessed by who else than
Sir Sees-a-lot wishing he was
Sir Turn The Other Cheek-a-lot.

Well that's the lot,
'til next time,
keep your lots to yourself.

power to this poem about highlighting corruption in upper class that HAVEALOT. clearly you have more then ALOT with your ability to shame them and I loved this poem AREALLOT. loved your humour and humiliation saying what we all see and accept goes on. rich and poor divide so well expressed in this sarcastic political poem with humour that gets top ratings and ALOT. pure gold in this poem and I have to thank you for making me laugh so much even if I had to read it 3 times to really get in to flow of it . thank you Andrew ALLOT.
