I saw the light said Sir Galahad.

I saw the light said Sir Galahad.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

These dark ages
through modern times
brought the knights
of the Round Table
in search of the Holy Grail.

And with electricity prices
all sky high the knights
found it,
the torch....
even batteries were included.

And so the torch
shineth on they,
shining forward
the light upon those
with large shadows
until the sun came up.

Now this makes sense!

Aren't we just like these poor knights nowadays, what with the pathetic solutions for electricity generation that have been hijacked by the left leaning environmental loonies and the exorbitant prices we are forced to pay for a modern basic comfort. Even then they can't generate enough power to prevent rolling blackouts! We well and truly are heading back to the dark ages.

This is an excellent metaphor for our modern times. Right on point and realistic. A fine write, Andrew.

Thank you very much Doodley
how metaphorically wonderful this is...
i think there is more than electric prices that have gone up...the price we are paying for government just stalemating and leaving us in the dark and cold.
