The barricaded soul.

The barricaded soul.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

In the language of conversation
where some thoughts
should remain silent,
sometimes the mouth
fails to cooperate.
As his thoughts
stormed through
her front door unannounced,
his subconscious thoughts
could not enter,
she had barricaded her window.
