About that perfect moment.

About that perfect moment.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Excuse me!
Can I have your attention!
Yes you!
You know that moment when
you're reading a poem,
and the whole world
doesn't exist anymore!
Well! This isn't it!
Sorry!

Welcome to my world
where I put fun
into dysfunctional.

For instance lets talk
about that perfect moment,
like that feeling you get
when you like someone.
That's just common sense
leaving your body.
And you thought it was love.
Sorry!

Still, on the matters of the heart
love experts now say:
Don't break any one's heart,
they only have one.
They suggest break their bones,
humans have two hundred and six you know!

And finally,
while I still might
have your attention,
being honest may not get you a lot of friends
but it will always get you the right ones!

Got to go now.
I can't seem to find
my common sense!

Oh! One more thing I promise.
Remember if you're further from the truth
you maybe closer to the lie.

I do like the below saying.
"Oh! One more thing I promise.
Remember if you're further from the truth
you maybe closer to the lie."
Great wisdom shared. The more we talk, the less we say? Thank you Andrew for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.
