I tried to tell them. I did!

I tried to tell them. I did!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

If you're not wearing
rose coloured glasses
your mind will be
shocked again.

To a nudist,
it's not about the look,
it's about the freedom.

However, to the naked eye
brought up on beauty being
in the eye of the beholder
I was besieged by those
not so gentle on the eyes.

The world appears to be
upside down in view
of the light presented.

When one is confronted by
beautiful people being
models of high, almost perfect form
parading in clothes,
one is stunned to find those
who are less attractive
and should be clothed
parading around naked.

Hold on readers there is a news flash.

As the world appears upside down
in the fields of rationality, just being,
and in areas of common sense,
experts are trying to tilt the Earth
to its rightful axis and
possibly the right way up too,
so beauty does lie
in the eyes of the beholder.

 Of course! If this fails
dark sunglasses will be issued.

and i wonder that right axis might really be...or if there is one where everything and everyone can find a perfect balance.
