Was I the same person?

In the house of mirrors
each image was mine
on reflection but
what was I reflecting
me or my image?
My shadow did not
reflect my cover.

i think we are two entities...
the real "we" and the image we try too often to project to protect that real "we"---
i think of Plath when i read this.
