When I see you.

When I see you.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

When I see you
I see the wind blow your hair
even though you're not there
I see you.

When I see you
I see the sand through your toes
wash away in ocean blue
and I see you.

When I see you
you fade to dark
your light is sparse
you come in waves
but I see you.

When I see you
I close my eyes
I see you smile
against the stars
and I see you.

When I see you
I visualise behind brown eyes
in your mind I am you
and I see me...

Thank you dear Kelly.
dear Andrew... seeing is believing when Stars shine the brightest in the memory of Love and windswept touches by the Sea. Amen

Thank you dear Pat.
this has a romantic tinge to it...very much so...the idea of two becoming one...when the loves in our lives reflect us...and we see ourselves through their eyes.
great ending....really strong piece, andrew.

Thank you Jacob for your words.
Love the rhythm in the lines. They echo the gust of the wind, the fading of light and the waves you refer to
