Yes, it has been a privilege to have met so many
beautiful people... to see so many clouds in formation
on lovely blue skies... to have dreamed on mountain tops
and hurried home to watch my grandma prepare a dinner
with homemade bread and butter churned from the Cow she owned.
But most of all to have loved my children as they grow and be
a grandmother of a boy and three girls. And now I am privileged
to know intimately many poets of intrinsic worth. I feel a new birth.
Not to forget my husband who is proud to know a poet so intimately
blessed. Amen Pat
yes, as the Talking Heads would agree.
a privilege for sure...and we should be grateful that we have gotten to exist, and i think for us poets, grateful that we have the gift of words to work with.
