I remember a rose floating on a tune.

I remember a rose floating on a tune.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

I remember love
but I don't remember cupid
shooting the arrow.
I remember love
all heavenly dressed in white
but I can't place the dove.
Where was the dove?
I remember love
the one you sang in song
I remember love.
Yes! I remember now,
I still have the blood,
 a stain on my shirt,
and my rib cage is open.
You stole my heart.
Yes! I remember your love.
