The catcher and the catch.

The catcher and the catch.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

While the space
between us
prolonged your survival,
I, the hunter
you the hunted;
the bridge
brought us closer
sooner than later.

Okay. I see it took time and patience to catch your prey . . . no doubt a lady who might've resisted your Aussie charms for a time. Ah but the secret of the "bridge" remains your alone. Everyone has their own attraction that bridges the gap between the sexes. Yours, Andrew, no doubt is Strindberg!!!
Enjoyed the read. Thanks.

lol Strinberg indeed I love his approach to writing. Thanks Tom.
and seeking love...we hope to find that bridge...love awaits...the chase is always exhilarating...we just hope to be successful in the end...and the trophy will be a loving relationship. Otherwise we will just stuff our hearts and hang them on the wall.

Thanks for your words Jacob.
Ominous and predatory it seems as the writer seeks his prey and is happy to have cornered it/her more quickly than anticipated. You must be a hungry one Andrew!
