The eclipse of a heart riding on the echo of a goodbye.

The eclipse of a heart riding on the echo of a goodbye.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The echo from hello
could be heard
echoing on the goodbye
the repetitive bass sounds
of a tear falling to the chorus
of a heart playing its final strings
could be heard on the ear drums
pounding beat of the temporal lobes
splitting in the anti climax of once was
is now never more
where the pulse skids to a stop.

a perfect musical metaphor carried throughout this poem...
as the Beatles sang..."you say goodbye, and i say hello, hello hello"
that echo hurts...not matter good the sound quality.

Yes a musical approach in words to a song I say hello you say goodbye. Thanks Jacob.
