I beg your baadom!

I beg your baadom!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

If the good Lord
was my shepherd
we’d all be sheep,
the bible would be called Baa.
Adam and Eve would be
named Ram and Ewe respectively
and the Devil himself
would be the butcher
down the road
selling tender loin chops.
Someone would be missing
a leg or two!
Which brings me to
the next story.
What has six legs
and runs around a paddock?
A ram doing a ewe!
Anyway, he wasn’t a shepherd,
we all drive cars
and here we are.
It’s a baa from him
and it’s a baa from me!

Not sure what you mean?
We all do drive cars these days. I had the mental image of people driving jeeps through a shepherd’s field back in biblical times. Now that’d be something comical. Imagine the horror and disbelief on their faces.

Your thoughts on the devil made me think more Hannibal Lector than butch selling chops.

I found this comical. However I do believe that the Lord is my shepherd. One to guide me when I am lost. Just my personal side note.

Very creative and unique write that conjured up some super unique imagery in my mind.
