The Dictionary Police Interview.

The Dictionary Police Interview.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

This is the BBC reporting
at the Dictionary Police interview.

Dictionary Police, have you apprehended the word culprits?
Yes! We have the words in custody!

We suspected for a long time
these words were suspect.
Yes! They are words of interest
and are assisting us
with our enquires as we speak.

If found guilty the words will get life.
What is life for a word?
A word will last as long as life itself.

We had a sneaking suspicion
the words have been up to no good!
Who are these words?
We are unable to divulge this information
on the words of advice!

But its all conjecture at this stage.
Will the words ever be used again?
We think probably unlikely in this instance.
Next question?

I'm glad they are getting life without hard labour; that will be so harsh and a reminder of olden days.
Judging by your words, you should earn a sentence of lifetime achievements.
Dates will be announced later in Hollywood

You clever man- this is not only a wonderful use of words (ha ho) but it has wit and that is a rare gift these days. That in fact, could be your very precious and unique genre, sir. Henceforth one a fortnight!!?

Wishing you a very happy and calm or not (according to requirements) weekend!
