The nuclear fireworks parade exhibition.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Someone said
the meek will inherit the Earth.
A hippy barefoot with beard replied
Neat!
Someone said
the weak will inherit the Earth.
Someone with a sugar tooth replied
Sweet!
Someone else said
the bleak will inherit the Earth.
Someone else replied
Take a seat!

Someone philosophising said
When you said the Earth,
did you mean the globe?
Someone replied
 Look! It is a globe!

Someone asked
Who will flick the switch?
Someone said
I don't know!
Someone replied
Thank God for the electrician.

In the heavens above
someone said
Oh Look! The globe has lit up!
Everyone dressed in green said
Yes! Wow!

Excerpts from the Alien chronicles
from the captain's log of an
extra terrestrial passenger spaceship
passing Earth.
