Not another thought for today!

Not another thought for today!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Came across a few
thoughts in my time,

thoughts that are narrow
thoughts that are wide
thoughts that crackle
thoughts that hide.

Thoughts that bend
thoughts that turn
thoughts that mend
thoughts that burn.

Yes! Had a few thoughts in my life.

Thoughts that chuckle
thoughts that chime
thoughts that buckle
to the weight of time.

Thoughts that are broken
in need of repair
the anxieties are growing
and the mind doesn’t care.

Yes! Lost a few thoughts in my time.
But who gives a thought!
I thought you cared!
But alas, thoughts have a life of their own.

yes, they do...they enter and leave as they wish...and they don't really confer with us about all that...they are in control from beginning bell to the end of the last round.
