Have your say!

Have your say!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Don’t mess with the thoughts
that mess with your head,
there’s a heart at stake.
Dracula’s journal

Don’t mix with the tribe
that has a liking for you,
your heart, their steak!
The explorer’s manual titled
The missing ingredient cookbook in cannibal country.

Don’t let stray thoughts
into your house where they don’t belong,
your mind is full anyway.
The house of think.

When the cost of freedom
is the cost of thoughts
multiplied by those not buying!
The dead man’s journal.

Don’t touch what you can’t afford.
The blade is sharp.
The executioner’s how to do it manual.

Have your say!
The world is going to love it!

This old poem of yours, spoke to me this morning Andrew, particularly stanza three. Yes, the house of think. Mine is full and there certainly isn’t room for any waifs and stray thoughts.Your poem offers sage advice as well as being entertaining.

Thanks J, just my warped sense of humour, and I'm not clever enough to do conventional poems as such.. read more
Nice logic shared in the words.
"Don’t let stray thoughts
into your house where they don’t belong,
your mind is full anyway.
The house of think."
The above lines I liked the best. We do overthink things. Thank you Andrew for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.
