An end to a means was tested!

An end to a means was tested!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

He met a girl called Wander.
She met a guy called Stop.
They shared a period together.

He met a girl called Question
She met a guy called Listen
They had a child called The Answer.

He married a girl called Common
She divorced a guy called Sense
They had a kid called Stupid.

She met a girl called Rope
She met a girl called Knot
They are still tied.

When he found out
he was born
He later met Death
He found his End.
Just by chance
he missed the beginning
but that’s time for you.

Meanwhile
She met a guy called Fortune
He met a girl called lucky,
Lucky Fortune!
Some would say!
Others said Chinese!

When she met a guy called Nobody
He met a girl called Somebody
She said Anybody would do!

Your “tested” poem earns a 100! This is one of the most original poems I’ve read on here recently. It has a hint of Dr. Seuss, especially that last stanza, which is my favorite. Probably more truth in that last stanza that we’d want to admit.
