The immobility of being under control.

The immobility of being under control.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Oh dear!
I cut the rope
that held you up.

Collapsed in a heap
you lie, waiting.
Do I tie the knot
to pull you to the life
you knew once more?

Or do I leave you
free from my commands
in your new dishevelled state
to be resurrected by
someone else who
will love your charms?

What do you say,
my puppet on a string?
Entangled but free or
are you ready to serve?

If you can control the ball, you win the game; puppet masters are good at it. Now, if you control the tongue, that is another thing. If you control your lover, they will flee to another. If you control the populace, you can live in opulence.
If you control religion, you control any engine.

Once gaining freedom from control, never go back to it again !
The controller will have even more power to bring you down...

Exactly Stella and some countries with-like Putin as leader pull all the strings
With freedom there is choices and changes…

Does one want to continue to serve the puppet master or do they truly want to be free and navigate a life they never knew they could have. For some they do not know how to navigate a dramatic change and so will remain in a negative situation but many others will run fall try and conquer what they want.

Welcome friend.
I was really surprised that this is told from the perspective of the one controlling the other. The debate on weather or not they should let the person free is amazing. I really enjoyed this.
