Stranded dreams on an island in thought.

Stranded dreams on an island in thought.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Secluded thoughts lie
on reality island
daydreaming of being rescued,
cast adrift amongst broken dreams,
relying on tomorrow's tides
to take fond memories stranded,
free beyond the horizon of hope,
to a place called yesterday
where they belong,
far away from today's currents.
