I saw ewe and me!

I saw ewe and me!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

I came across
a you (ewe),
and I found
you were
just like me
in a world
where we were
told how to behave,
but then I met others
just like you (ewe)
and we lived behind fences,
and we all went baa
for the shepherd
had spoken.
After we were shaved
we were taken away,
my friends were butchered,
lambs for the slaughter
with loin chops on special,
they were part of the food chain.
I had no wool to wrap me.
