Bubonic plague spreads in mind’s web.

Bubonic plague spreads in mind’s web.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The spider ate the fly,
after the fly spread disease
killing millions.

Vegans were eating
the animals food source
to save the animals
but they all died from starvation.
The greens ran out!

Poverty was eating
the fabric of society
leaving holes in our
civilisation while the rich
through greed made
more fabrics to cover
the holes for the
poor to make bigger.

Meanwhile, the spider
sat in the middle
of the web waiting
for the next meal,
nothing else mattered,
the spider lived in that hole
that was getting bigger.

The spiders are many, waiting for the foolish acts of life to feed their hunger. I enjoyed how the words danced to perfect ending. A enjoyable read Andrew. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.

Thank you very much John.
i could imagine who the spider is here...i have several ideas...the rich get richer and the poor starve to death...and make a bigger menu for that spider. Sooner or later what will there be left to conserve...who or what will be left to protect? We are annihilating ourselves.

Thank you J for your words. Yes we are experiencing a downward spiral in our existence.
