How deep is your puddle!

How deep is your puddle!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

From the tears you shed
I walked around
your puddles of sorrow,
in fear that I ....

may drown
in the depths
of your grief.

I do believe it may be possible to drown in one's grief. I need coffee to contemplate this further...good seeing you again, Andrew!

Thank you Kelly for gracing my page, delighted!
This is so unlike anything of yours I have read before. An acknowledgement and understanding of another person's sorrow. Truly sad

Thank you Chris, sorry for the late reply.
There's an enigmatic touch to your words this morning. Perhaps a crowd of contemplation happened in your world today. These words have such a sadness, empathy that could also read evasiveness. Brief words that say more than seem.
