In through the path of mistakes!

In through the path of mistakes!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Seek only the door
that opens,
but bear in mind
every door
has a lock.

You may not have
the key to your answer,
but through the window
you will see more questions.

Your poem reminds me of how a wild animal, upon stumbling into my cabin, automatically goes for an opening . . . but your poem describes the contrasting human tendency to try a solid door with a latch. That's why I love the ending, being advised to forget about checking doors & locks, just look for an opening to find the way forward (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

There's so much - and clever, truth in those words, andrew. Mind you, could keep the blinds drawn!
