Holding up the blue curtain!

Holding up the blue curtain!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Someone said the sky is falling.
Has it happened yet?
Not that I can see.
The sky is just hanging in there
in space.
What about the moon?
Same! Just aloof,
full of its self!
And the sun?
Well when the sky does fall
we’ll probably have another eclipse,
when the sky wraps around the sun.
So what should we do?
Stoke the furnace,
don’t support climate change.
The hot air rising
should hold the sky up?
Who’s for tennis?
I just saw a falling star!
I’ll get my racquet.
