What was the motive behind the mirror?A Poem by andrew mitchell
I saw you
in my reflection I waved, you waved I said goodbye you said goodbye we were as one I thought until you stepped onto the road in front of a bus. I realised then we weren’t the same. I always told you look right then left then right again. I saw you in my reflection we had become two in the shadow world. © 2019 andrew mitchell |
