Oh! Mother!

Oh! Mother!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

I give you the sun Mother
so that you can shine fore with,
I give you the moon
to control your tides of emotions
and I give you Man
who will dress and undress you.
Man who will ultimately
betray you and leave
you for dead
but not before
he has seen your anger.

You tell the true tale of Mother Earth with your eloquent words here Andrew. She bore us and we decimate , violate, her. Ungrateful children that we are. We reap what we sow I’m afraid. Excellent write.
