The sifting of floury thoughts gathered.

The sifting of floury thoughts gathered.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Protracted thoughts
search the mind
like beams of light
illuminating the dancing dust
swirling through the subtle
ever changing moments
reflected in the gathering
of time's memories spent.

Thank you very much Chris.
dear Andrew... I miss sifting the flour for
making pies... it was to refine the art of
pastry. We do need to sift our thoughts
to define the art of life. The gathering of berries
ahead of time is essential, if we want the
sugar to enhance the experience of flavors
delicately blended. Grandma's baking left nothing to be desired.
Living life is a cup of desire with a dash of sweetness and
a pinch or two of wisdom. truly, Pat
