I still have the newspaper from when we walked on the moon. My mom told me to save it, that it would be worth something someday. I have it wrapped in plastic and keep it in the bottom drawer of my dresser to keep it in the dark. It's yellowed and looks quite nostalgic! I think its pretty cool that you wrote about this, Andrew.

50 years ago today...remember that moment so well...
and i like your poem...shows how important the moon is to us, especially on the romantic side of things.

WHAT!!! We've been to the moon?
Thought that was a Hollywood soundstage. LOL
That time sitting in front of the black & white TV was very special. Kids today have no idea.
A good bit of writing Andrew. Succinctly states a wonderful bit of history.

Hi Ted, thanks for reviewing. I remember sitting around the TV I was 9.
This is so apt, remembering today what took place fifty years ago. Remember it so well, in my teens and completely awe struck.
