In a world of dumb and dumber, stumbled man.

In a world of dumb and dumber, stumbled man.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

While technology
becomes more smarter
man becomes more inept.
In the sum of us
man’s under developed mind,
his lack of vision
became his subtraction
through his taste for money.
History never lies,
it was all noted!

The smarter machines grow there is less need for man to expand the mind. And lack of vision is a constant problem when the leaders are more concerned with enriching themselves and keeping the rest of the minions in the dark.
The Dark Ages...the Dark Continent...the Dark that most of us are willing to accept as our lot.

Skynet anyone?

Good one, Andrew.

Thank you Ted. Sorry its late!
This reminds me of the poem Unknown Citizen by Auden... Simple yet truly effective in today's times... :)

Thank you Nazia belatedly!
we have had so much subtraction, we live in negative numbers now.
at least our minds do...
