Just a poetry collage.

Just a poetry collage.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The moon yellow
sun shining
clouds congregate
storm tomorrow
wishful thinking
over the horizon
the man in the moon
signals
it’s all clear.
Just another image
to paste on minds
riding the rainbows
the celebration of life
collected as triumphs
a collage of memories glued.

I love your novel stream of imagery! You pick common images from poetry, seeming like a spoof, but then you string it all together in an intriguing way. I love the sensation of taking a sharp turn into an unexpected direction, over & over, a witty collage of earnest sentiments & those a little mocking (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
