The pool of wannabe mermaids.

The pool of wannabe mermaids.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

In summer heat
the baptism of sensuality
was diving into the pool
of liquid gold
where Mother embraced
the swim of life
she took some
for her own
in the drowning
while keeping the chalice full.
