Farewell echoes on a yellow brick road.

Farewell echoes on a yellow brick road.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

There was a time
when goodbye
only meant
til tomorrow
but that was
a long time ago.

A good write, Andrew. Yes, at a certain age goodbye takes on a finality that is difficult to accept.
Short ... but potent reminder of what lies ahead.
