In the aetiology of thoughts.

In the aetiology of thoughts.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The importance of dreams
in the aetiology of thoughts
began many moons ago when

the shedding of thoughts
brought new skin,
knee high thoughts
transcend to the moon
and back
on words of wisdom,
a jacket pockets
memories in change,
while boots carry
the weight of thoughts
from places spent
watching the memories
fall below the
mind's horizon lost
in it's wilderness.

Was it a dream
that jumped over the moon
and the mind ran away
with the moment?

When the memory
was drawn from the mind
where was the mythical
explanation on a cause
for the thought during
King Arthurian times?

Winter thoughts
for a summers day
shines light
on the importance
of just being....

to free the me
where the mind
is the final frontier.

I remember you when you were knee-high to a grasshopper.
We come into this world brand new... however, the moment we
are held in our Mother's arms, we are exposed to the elements.
Then we spend our lifetime endeavoring to discover every
illness that may come our way... many of which we could have
avoided with common sense and vaccinations. truly, Pat

And how we weather the changes in life Pat. Thank you as always for your poetic replies.
I love how you dissect the causes of thoughts and especially dreams, how you unlock their mysteries and how you shape the argument at the end. I felt a dialogue with yourself or a former lady. You are a sharp mate and poet...
