The poetic presence of -ing!

The poetic presence of -ing!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

And now for
the poetic vocabulary weather.
There will be
a lot of -ing
with us today.

I'm just say-ing
not tell-ing and
I'm certainly not ask-ing.

How excit-ing!
Not incit-ing!
Br-ing it on!

There's a lot of
to-ing and fro-ing
when one is
over grammar-tis-ing
in the present participles of ing.
