In the mind, a wishing well.

In the mind, a wishing well.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Along the edge of heaven's high
immersed in the wishing well
each wave a question
a drop an answer
in a pool swimming
of mind's diversity.
Hope is all
but the ladder
to reach the diving board
and into the pond we dive
to escape the real world
where the mind is caressed
by unconscious thoughts
through dreams
that float by.
