Connecting within one's temple.

Connecting within one's temple.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

In a world of fantasy
the heart speaks to mind.
How's it going? says Heart.
I'm going to die! replies Brain.
What! But you're Grey Matter!
You run the fort! says Heart.
I know, but you pump the life! replies Brain.
So what's going on?
It's the temple.
It's in disrepair and the Egyptians are long gone.
That's too bad Grey Matter!
You won't stand the test of time
for you are no pyramid.
I know!

You have captured a moment in time here Andrew. When the eyes of two meet and are locked together and you know exactly what the other is thinking. Doesn't last long before one of them looks away. This is lovely, and your words creata a wonderful scenario. Well done.

the brain won't stand the test of time, even if it thinks it rules...but the heart will last even past a lifetime.
it will join the soul in the ever after.

Indeed Thanks J, yes I wonder how many souls are tied to the pyramids.
