In between the cusp of a dream.

In between the cusp of a dream.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Taking in
another breathe
of a dream
it all unfolds
behind closed eyes.
On the arc
of a dream
one sits
on a rainbow comfortably.
Drinking from the chalice,
let Merlin cast his spell-
a thousand beacons
light the sky,
while hearing the angels sing.
Around the synopsis
hidden in a dream,
Gulliver's travels
tied down
all thoughts little.
Where peace of mind
started from a beginning
the wings of a nightmare
ring true in a glass
containing time.
With the vessel now broken
new horizons are cast
over grains of sand
out toward
the mirage of seas.
Living in empty shells
one hears the seas of promise
meanwhile cows
on the moon roam
and the chords of reality
are lost in the search.
