Passing through the silica pile of making mirrors!

Passing through the silica pile of making mirrors!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Hi son!
Hi dad!
So what do you think
you'll be in one million years time son?
I want to be the hardest rock dad!
We all can't be diamonds son.
Unfortunately, we belong to the silica family son.
But in time people
will look up, and
into you,
and reflect upon.
That's important son.

The exchange between father and son is both touching and profound, highlighting themes of aspiration, identity, and legacy. It's a beautiful reminder of the importance of self-reflection and the impact we can have on others. I enjoyed the read!

Thank you very much High Priestess
What a cool write this is. Oh, to be a mirror so others can see what they look like in our eyes. Nice that the son asks the father confident he is smart enough to answer! Lydi**
