Not too deep.

Not too deep.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

He who plays
in the shallows
will not find love
for deep are
the emotions
that run.

Another truth captured in a few short lines, Andrew. You seem to have mastered the beauty of brevity.

I was not a Lady Gaga fan until I saw the movie, A Star is Born, and heard her sing "Shallow." I later heard an interview when she talked about writing the song. You've captured in this poem what she sang.

Every time I walk into the sea, I get sucked in with an undertow, I end up swallowing shallow love... before I get to the deeper places:? LOL I love how you think Andrew you always have a way of surprising me:)
