Two tunnels same outcome.

Two tunnels same outcome.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

In the tunnel,
he who walks
in the shadows
will never see
the light of day,
and will be
hit by a train.

In the tunnel of love
not seeing the light,
he also
was hit
by a train.

I have often got difficulties Andrew picking up the metaphor in poetry and understanding what it's all about. If I try to write one I worry no one going to get it. In fact they often think it's about something else but that's okay. In this careers got literal and metaphor which is Original and witty. It's interesting that being in tunnels is one of the commonest dreams!
Cheers.
