When her levee broke.

When her levee broke.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Against lavender skies
a lone face speaks
a thousand words.
The evolution of tears
erupts flowing down
mascara lined cheeks,
lipstick smeared memories
whisper sorrow
the mouth quivering
on the realisation ...

there will always be
another day but not
another tomorrow.

as she finally understands, for her there will be another day, but it will be without him.

Indeed J thank you for visiting.:)
well done .. super emotive for me ... the landscape to her own face and tears .. closing feels so somber ... her hopes and dreaming unavailable ... :( nice one sir!
