The abandoned love.

The abandoned love.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

On the pavement broken
a heart bleeding
swims in circles
in a pool of tears.
One watched the ripples
of rhythmic pain pulsate
in the beat of the beaten
only to find the moment
tear at my page,
I looked away and
closed your book.

A sad as sad poem, andrew, but comes from a heart that somehow, magically and calmly, knows how to survive, somehow.
